Conference to held, to bring together findings from the FAIR Study and other studies of prisoners' families
The Institute of Criminology intends to hold a conference on the subject of families and imprisonment, to showcase the latest findings in this important field of study.
The FAIR Study will present their findings from the largest longitudinal study of prisoners' families in Europe. There will be a strong focus on the protective functions of the family, the heterogenous outcomes for different families/family members, and modelling pathways of resilience and resettlement within family units.
Please contact the research team if you wish to be kept updated on the conference. The date of the conference is provisional at this time and will be in Summer 2019.
