FAIR: The Families and Imprisonment Research Study

 

 

 

Conference to held, to bring together findings from the FAIR Study and other studies of prisoners' families

 

The Institute of Criminology intends to hold a conference on the subject of families and imprisonment, to showcase the latest findings in this important field of study. 

The FAIR Study will present their findings from the largest longitudinal study of prisoners' families in Europe. There will be a strong focus on the protective functions of the family, the heterogenous outcomes for different families/family members, and modelling pathways of resilience and resettlement within family units.
